I had uploaded a Humongous VANNES-LE-CHATEL Vase last summer in the CW forum but it wasn't the tallest one we have. This 18" tall slender "Reaching Man" Vase by this GlassMaker comes in smaller sizes but this one is the biggest. It was not sold as a Reaching Man vase but when you look at it, it certainly looks like someone with both arms above their head-reaching up. It has an early Etched Mark underbase like the Vase we previously uploaded. We have other smaller figural crystal dishes/bowls from this company that we use around the house. RER(BOB)

Bob I like your name for it!
Stunning vase and must be very imposing in life!
I admit to ignorance here - I am assuming this vase was moulded as with other Vannes but were the arms later hot worked or moulded as is?
      Thanks. Karen

Oh, I haven't got this one yet! Very impressive. I see you use the same naming system as me, it is difficult to find any information on the factory or the products. Regards, William.

Hi race4four! I don't see any mold marks...I suppose they were removed after reheating. The arms were made by pulling the ends up till they got the length they wanted. The heads of the fellow (one each side) were actually arms that were cut/not pulled. It is quite big and heavy.
Hi Gracay2004! I have a very fertile imagination when it comes to creating names for items.... lol It's true that there is very little info. on the products of this glassmaker. Thank you both for the input and Love.
