This vase has been in my family for 3 generations that I know of.Not sure where or when my mothers aunt got it.I have used it on many occasions.I think ot looks similar to okeefes handpainted nippon vase.I think this is an early nippon mark.Will go check it out.Probably late 1890's early 1900's
My husbamd opened the cupboard door amd my fav vase fell on to tiles amd broke
I am going to get it professionly repaired

It does have a moriage type look and feel about it.Not sure if it classified moriage

You have a fabulous piece of IC & E Co porcelain dating from the late NIPPON period. I own several fabulous MUSEUM quality pieces of IC & E myself and they are truly exquisite pieces. All these pieces were made in Japan by the finest exponents of porcelain decorating.
