    Looking to purchase this lamp...seller is asking $500...I think it is really pretty...does anyone happen to have any info on it...this is the only pic I can get of it...looks to be a converted oil lamp. Any ideas would be great...the shade is not perfectly round, doesn't look machine made. Also a spout on it as if it were converted...whatever info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

      Unfortunately, the lower section (font) & base would help us a lot in identifying, dating this oil Lamp converted to electricity. Did the dealer say it was an Aladdin Lamp? It looks to have been rebuilt with many different lamp parts and the pulley mechanism seems to be gone. RER

      I agree with Loumanal and Jay How. I love it but much less than $500 love it.
