This is my Mommom's accessory. She was cleaning her room and brought it out to show me. She can't remember what she used it for but she thought it might have been something you may have pinned on a sweater. She was born in 1932. It's a very tiny metal handbag, a bit bigger than a quarter.

The hinge on the purse is broken but it seems a bit cumbersome for a charm bracelet . I'll make sure to tell my Mommom though, it is a cute little charm and we've been looking at it all week trying to figure out what it was meant for. This website is amazing!

Love the little purse. From my prior experience, I believe this little purse was attached to a chain and worn around the neck. They were very popular and came in many different styles. They are very collectible. I have seen several in the past and currently have two of them, as well.
