I am looking to see if someone can date these two bottles and tell me if they are worth anything or if I should just drink them!
They are full bottles.
Cheers!

I would say drink it as it is probably real common because it is an import. Rum isn't used on labels in Cuba. They label it Ron. My neighbor is from Cuba and brings back the real stuff every year when he goes home for a visit. A drink of their Ron/Rum and one of the cigars will make you dizzy for two days.
i would drink it as well....
Maybe in the States where they still play the childish sand-box mentality about Cuba, it might be a novelty. I don't live on Uncle Sambo's Plantation so we can get Cuban cigars, rhum et. anywhere but I don't smoke or drink "hard". Unless you think it may be a novelty where you live, drink it if you drink.
Are we allowed to trade on this site? I am Cuban and I collect them. Not worth much, maybe 100.00 dollars a bottle, but for me they are something I love collecting.
Can you email me information on their history to radiopollack at gmail dot com?
Elite, the answer is no. Sounds innocent enough so leave your mail address & see.
No they cannot trade on this site or no he will not trade or sell the rum bottles? Is it ok to leave an email? Radiopollack@gmail. com
By Jove, I think you caught on. Hell, he was going to pour it out!
Show us the tax stamp your hand is covering. The tax stamp will tell the truth.
Those are just for collecting, contents are not intended for consumption. But as a Cuban American, they would mean a lot to me since they are pre-Castro.
Let the tax stamp tell the story. I believe you will see the tax stamp is NOT pre Castro
I do not care about the tax stamp, I just like the bottles as a keepsake...
Bottles are U.S. imports pre-embargo and most likely pre-Castro unless they're from the first couple of years of Castro rule. Very nice bottles, too. Would be interested in speaking with you about these if you still have them. You can email me at ewitz@comcast.net. Cheers!
Wondering if you still have these bottles?
By the way, these are definitely pre-Castro. Most likely 1940s and valuable.
Hi,
this Havana Club bottle is from the 40s. On my website you can get some details about the story and the old rarities. If you are interested to get some more details about the value: info@hc-rumsammlung.de
