    I am not 100% but there was an article I found with a similar eagle that stated it was from 1876 and came out of a courthouse in New Hampshire and only 13 are known to exist. The one in the article picture the eagle is looking left as you can see mine is looking right. Anyone know who could of made this?

      Possibly they stood in pairs looking at the flag??

      Does yours have "CHAPMAN MADE IN SPAIN" stamped on the bottom?

      I'm not 100% on this, but I think the news article photo may be reversed. The US flag is always is always displayed with the stars in the upper left wether it is hanging horizontally or vertically.
