This lovely vase just arrived yesterday - I was very pleased with the terrific teal iridescence on this one! It is a 5 1/2" tall Rindskopf barber's bottle vase in an oil spot decor. Kralik also had a decor very close to this one, but they used cobalt glass as a base, and not the dark amethyst purple seen in this vase. Although this barber's bottle shape is very often attributed to Kralik, I believe other companies also made very similar shapes, due to the wide varieties of decors these bottles are found in, not all attributable to Kralik.

Thanks Michelleb007...hopefully!...although everything I have at the moment is going into storage for a few years as will be renovating the new place for a while...a friend of mine just told me after I told her I was going to stop looking..."no hope"... :-))))... So if she is right..which she probably is..:-/....I won't be able to stop!...but!..hope to have a break for a while first!...have been doing this one for the last 8 years, can't help ourselves....:-)
