it should be pressed glass with paint or fired enamil, probably 1950's hope this helped.

Hi Moonstonelover21...I'm sorry I couldn't tell you for sure...is there much wear on the base?..hard to see from the photo!....:-)

I have to agree with ks85 and jericho about the age it's what I suspected but! wasn't sure and was willing heaps of wear on the base for you so I would be wrong, it's really hard (for me anyway) to be sure from a photo especially a piece like this ..easier when you have it in your hands!.. a lovely piece of glass... look good in any tango collection!

It's not Tango or Czech Glass and there is no pontil. It was first manufactured in 1922 by Westmoreland Glass. The designer is Charles West and the decor name is Lattice Decoration #314. It's baked on enamel and not colored glass. My reference is "Florence's Glassware Pattern Identification Guide" Copyright 1998, Page 81. The reference states that it was offered in various colors on 10+ items/shapes.

Yes, that's correct. They came in several color variations and they didn't all have lattice style pinstripes. Thanks for adding the link. Here's Mary's shape with lattice stripes for comparison as well:

Wowowowow!!!! ove the wide black rim!!! Such a nce bowl!!!

I don't think the black is enamled or painted... it looks so glass-glossy! Not sure about the polished pontil, although it seems there is some light&shade volume there... but you'll tell us when you've got it!

      I love it!
