I bought this table from an elderly lady and I have no idea how old it is.
I put an old oil lamp and a fake scrimshaw on it for now. I guess this would be considered victorian era furniture, but I'm not sure. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Ron
Looks very nice!
A picture of the bottom, any fasteners & joints would help.
Agree with david, a photo of the underside will show the age.
It is not Victorian. I would think the 1920s at the earliest. It has some features that give the appearance of 19th century (lighter veneer/ carving), but they just aren't completely "on" for the period.
The two legs with top fluting are typical 20th century (1920s- 30s).

Thank you for looking and the comments everyone.I will post a pic of the underside.
It's very beautiful, congratulations.
Did you look for markings?
could email an expert photos and ask for their opinion for free
I've never seen anything like this before. unusual?
A Phillips screw was invented in the 1930s. Original Phillips screws would date the table to the 1930s or later. I saw an old European table from around 1890 with a single line through through the screw top.
