This is not mine but from a doll gallery I found online.
I have been told she is not a reborn doll and was sculpted around the late
1970s. Can anyone help me id her?

First I need a close up of painting on face to determine homemade or factory . These dolls were mass produced in 1980'-1990's some a bit earlier there was a craze for these dolls sold to be collector dolls not toys . She should be signed on her neck under hair . Since these types of dolls were made in millions hard to know what company made her or a artist doll and possible she was made in a ceramic class where they did doll making and store supplied molds and wigs ect you painted it and they fired it for you then you made clothes . Without seeing her eyebrows because eyes are closed I can't tell , usually I need to see eyes also . These dolls have very little value in todays market but make a cute display if you love it :-)

This is the best I can get in a picture of her. Thank-you for your reply!

The doll is not in my possession. She is from a gallery online of sold dolls.
I have been trying to id her so I can try to buy one for myself but I do not know what to look for. The seller only knew that she had never seen one like her before and that she thought the doll was hand sculpted in the 1970s or so.

She appears made from a mold and painted in a class. The ceramic coloring is not uniform , I would think you could find one similar . Did you want one sleeping like her ?
