This is a 1966 armored vehicle personnel helmet, as worn in Vietnam by tank crews and infantry carrying armored vehicles.The helmet has the plug, as well as the microphone for communicating with other crew members and vehicles. The goggles were used to protect the eyes from dust, wind, and sun.
