I'm worried this may be a serious art deco or other important piece I'm about to give away. There are no markings that I can see. Its held shut by a magnet. It looks new. So is it a cheap piece or a rare and nice one?

I am pretty sure that this is a modern item. I was in a gift shop last week and they had several different styles that were made exactly the same, even had the magnetic closure. There was a cat, birdhouse and a dog I believe. They were kind of pricey, 19.99 -29.99. They are made really well, and would make nice gifts for people who were into that kind of thing.
