Need help identifying press of sorts

Hi there, I came across this cool thing and just bought it. So it looks like a cross between a sewing machine and a drill press. It has a guided track along which the needle follows while it spins from the motor. Do you have any idea what this is? Any assistance would be amazing. Thanks in advance
