Found these pretty porcelain birds as part of an estate auction.
I'm wondering if they were meant to be something more than decorative as they have the holes in the bottom, they almost look like some type of lids or covers. Any feedback appreciated!
They are very pretty, cream colored, old as there is some crazing, and about 3.5" x 2.5".
I don’t think they’re pie birds, otherwise they would have an open beak to let the stem out while the crust was baking.
