It looks southwestern, or maybe mexican. anyone have any idea? i think it's really cute, and it definitely is at least 30-40 yrs old.

wow! i've been doing some research on this, and it appears to be a very early Zuni pottery owl - between the 1890s and 1920 or so. the old ones had these funky designs on them w/ the funny little ear posts. these are pretty rare and valuable.
Really great owl! Remember the book "I heard the owl call my name" or something like that!
