    A friend's mother recently passed away. She had a very discriminating taste. I think these inkwells might be Limoges. They were going to be sold in an estate sale but were pulled out thinking they wouldn't get top value. I would appreciate any information from the experts in the field. Regards,

      No marks on the base? Can you post a photo of the base please?

      Yes. I will post a picture of the base. I can't find a mark anywhere on these pieces. They believe them to be in the 2,000 - 3,000 range according to the company that is doing their estate sale. Picture to follow.

      I'm not looking for an appraisal. I want to know where and when they were made and by whom.
