These two rings, marked 925, are examples of jewelry I bought a few years ago in Paraguay. They were available everywhere and at the time cost less than $5 Canadian each. The problem with the exact price is that in most places in Paraguay people negotiate the final price and I am not good doing that. That means that I most likely overpaid.
About 10 years ago I went to South America and traveled all over the place. I loved the culture, the people, the nature, and the climate of the places I visited. One of the places I remember fondly is the “silver town” Luque. It is a small town about an hour’s drive from the capital of Asuncion. There you find the most creative crafts people working mostly with silver. I regret not buying some of their beautiful creations. What I remember vividly are the large, intricate filigree butterflies. Well, maybe one day I will return?
Thanks for looking:)
They're both very beautiful, and what a great price.
Thanks a lot, Aimathena. I actually got them for my daughters but these two are too big for them so I took tham back for safe-keeping:)
Thanks, aghcollect, Manikin, and sarahoff:)

Thanks so much for your kind comment Virginia.vintage:)
Hello. I recently inherited a ring that resembles this, but it is gold, and is a 12 ring puzzle ring. And there are 3 flowers just as yours with small rubies in the center. I haven't found any markings or info?? Any ideas? Thanks
