I really enjoy collecting old bottles. When I first got this, I had no idea what brand this was. But was able to find out it was a Michelob "tear-drop" style beer bottle.

Welcome back... Why are your previous posts gone?
Aloha DrFluffy, I had some issues that needed to be worked out. I am trying to avoid the distractions in Las Vegas so I can repost some of my previous items & many many new additions I picked up along the 1333 miles across the 5 states I passed through. I see you've added some awesome pieces to your collection. =^) How have you been?

I loves me some teardrop bottles! Those were very sexy, and intended to replicate a falling drop of water. Very cool. You can go to VintageAdBrowser.com to see how they toned down the Michelob bottles over the course of the late 1960s due to manufacturing issues; the early 1963-66 versions were the sexiest -- full-on Maryanne -- whereas by 1967 there were more toned down and Ginger, the style we still see today. (Folks in the know realize that Maryanne was the hot one, NOT Ginger.) So I assume your Maryanne bottle above is presumably vintage 1963 - 1966.
And by the way, whereas Maryanne could cook one mean coconut cream pie (and by "mean" I meant good, phat, def, rad, boss, groovy, hella, etc.), Ginger was UTTERLY FRACKIN' USELESS. God knows what she'd use that bottle for stuck on a desert island....
Many many thanks TC12! =)
