Progress is being made on this piece. I used Old English on the doors and was very pleased with how different it looks now. The back was scarred with lots of scratches. I used redwood stain, wiped off the excess and now the back looks a lot better. We will start to work on the actual stability of it now so it doesn't wabble. I do need to know what kind of hardware I should use on the doors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Nuts....I agree with you that the original tone of the camphor wood is gorgeous. The Old English polish just darkened it a little. It's still basically the original color. I do notice that the after picture has a lot more reddish tint to it. My back was to the sun and the wardrobe was facing the sun when I took the picture. I'm sure the color will be different if the pic is taken indoors.

Valentino, thank you for the suggestions as to what kind of hardware it had on it. I envisioned long bars as opposed to individual knobs. I've got to take the measurements of the space between the holes on each door where the hardware will go. I think I will lean toward Asian influence since the sides show what looks like bamboo with carving at the top. I have an additional original post showing the doors open and what's inside. If you click on my name, you should be able to access all of my posts. You will see the original post regarding this wardrobe with the pictures showing the inside.

Thanks so much to both of you for responding.
