GW does it again ! Here's a blast from the past.. at least my past. I had many a glass of Kool Aide poured from one of these as a kid. My mom had a few pieces and I remember them being on display at the grocery store. A&P to be exact, where they were given as premiums with purchase points possibly instead of trading stamps, not really sure. They were made by the Cameron Clay Products Co, in West Virginia. Commonly referred to as Cronin Pottery in the "Blue Tulip" design. There is a lot online but that's the basic info. Quite a few serving pieces were available trays, covered handled soup bowls and pitchers etc. Ours were lost ages ago. What a great find along with the fond memories -Mike-

NOTE: Found the very tiny creamer a few days later at GW, but no sugar bowl.

It's is unusual Jay but practical. It's an ice dam so the cubes don't plop and splash into your glass while pouring. I went back today and found a little matching creamer but not the sugar bowl :(...lol

Thanks Jay .... I added the picture of the creamer I found the other day, Tiny little thing only about 3" tall. Saw a large collection of "Blue Tulip" for sale online with soup bowls, serving trays, and a Pitcher for $265 !

I confiscated my nephews Pokemon card binder in hopes of them being worth something probably 15 years ago. We all know how that turned out...lol You just never know. If ten Honus Wager cards showed up one day watch that price deflate too. The joys of collecting and trying to time the market ! That's why I'm selling my 18th century punch bowl now. The market is huge right now for Asian art commanding insane prices even over gallery estimates. Hope mine goes over it's estimate too, but it probably will sell for just the reserve....lol
