I aquired this plate/bowl (NOT SURE EXACTLY WHICH) a couple of weeks ago. I dont believe its metal as a magnet will not stick. It may possibly be bronze. Dont think its copper due to it not being easily bent. Truth is I have no clue!!! The engraving/etching is familiar to me but I cannot find anything like it on the web. If anyone has any idea where this piece may have originated or anything about it, it would be a great help to me.
