I had to have this, it just looks cool! This is an Electrex 5.7 amps 110 volts toaster made in Boston, Mass. by the United Drug Co. No. X524 Pat'd Nov 15, 1920 Feb 15, 1925 with the original heavy cloth covered power cord from Universal Anders, Frary & Clark New Britain, Conn. and it works like a charm. I'm a little odd, so I prefer my toast done on one side. Now I can do this with out having to use a skillet like I used to. But realistically, it's really all about the joys of using a relic like this from yester-years that really makes me wiggle! =^'
Hey Tom, Great old toaster you have here!
I really like that old toaster. Plus it has that great original cord.
I love these old toasters.
Don't leave that old cord plugged in when you're not using it.
