A SIMULATED VIEW FROM THE HUDSON RIVER IN 1940s-1950s .LIGHTED MOVING PICTURE WITH WW2 WAR PLANES, A PARATROOPER , HOT AIR BALLOONS IN THE AIR AND FISH IN THE WATER SCROLLING BY STATUE OF LIBERTY ...ALSO MAKES WATER/BIRD SOUNDS .THIS ITEM WAS PUT TOGETHER SO PLANES AND ALL WERE MOVING WORKING BACKWARDS . ALSO OF PECULIAR INTEREST IS THE MORE MODERN APPLE SYMBOL ON GLASS FACE BEING FROM THE 1940s,1950s .I HAVE FOUND SIMALAR FRAMES WITH WATERFALL CONTENT IN PICTURE AND MODERN NEW YORK WTC TOWERS . THIS PICTURE CAME AFTER WW2 . I D APPRECIATE ANY INPUT THAT WOULD SHRED LIGHT ON THIS ONE. MEASURES AROUND 15 INCHES BY 22 INCHES. ELECTRONICS INSIDE THOUGH NOT SURE WHAT OR IF ANY OF IT IS ORIGINAL.

The apple logo is too exactly like the Apple computer logo to be a coincidence. I think it had to have been lifted by some digital graphics designer unconcerned with copyright infringement – I imagine in one of the countries that also churn out fake Adidas and Coach Bags. A Google search shows the monochrome apple logo was adopted in 1998. ELT Lighting, which made the ballast, has been around for about ten years and is located in China.
Still, it’s kind of cool in a kitschy sort of way, regardless of age.
