Hello, I came across this picture of a old porcelain doll. I have been looking for one just like this for some time but do not really know what to look for.
I do know that she has a soft fabric body with a porcelain head, forearms,
hands, and legs from the knees down are also porcelain.
Can anyone help me with this? Thank-You!
Hi violet the photo does not show enough of her face painting and bisque or porcelain to tell age but from what I can make out she is a Collectors doll from 1980's -90's. A color photo would help . If you search ebay or etsy ect for porcelain dolls you might find one close to her :-)
Hi, do you know of any doll makers I could try to search?
All I ever come up with are old german and french ones that do not have her face.
I cannot get a colored photo but the story where I read about her said she had pink lips, brown eyes and rosy peach cheeks. Also her toenails were said to be delicately painted. Thanks for responding and any help you can give me!
She is not a antique doll. Many of the collectible dolls have a face like her's . It is not a repro of an antique doll either as many are . Where did you see her photo ?

The picture of her was taken from a article I read a long time ago about a women who had grown up with the doll and thought she was haunted. I cannot remember the site but it was not one about dolls in general. Thank you for the ebay link you gave me. As I looked around I continued to see people selling lots of porcelain dolls by Brinn's, Heritage, Gorhams, Dynesty and The Heritage Mint. In those lots there are these unmarked dolls that the sellers have no idea what company they are by. Any Clue? Please see new post marked unknown porcelain dolls. Thank- you for all of your help!
Violet I have read articles and seen posting by people saying dolls are haunted . I do not believe in that and they do not come to life . Someone had a wild imagination :-)
I do not believe in it either. I simply ask about these dolls I see because I like how they look and would like one for my collection. So, it is usually just me trying to get help to identify them when I have looked and can't find anything.:)
