DrFluffy might know
I have asked people locally and no one seems to know. Any help would be wonderful!
I've been searching, unfortunately with no luck. Maybe check with an Asian antique jewelry expert/appraiser? They do have online resources. I found a few of those. But not one bracelet that looks like yours. I really hope you find the information. Good luck to you.
Hi Aimathena... Thanks for looking! I tried to find one also.. no luck.
Does anyone know if this is Chinese or Japanese? Thank you.
Any idea on what this is from? Thanks.
Maybe try showing it off the next time you grab Chinese takeout, see if someone recognizes it or at least the symbols? Hey, it's worth a try. LoL
hah, it's an antique and also not. the porcelain chips had been cut off from larger chips which could had been buried for centuries. The maker reused the china chip with reign marks to compose this piece. It may be useful for porcelain collector as an ancient samples, but not worthy.
Agree with shrine, cut from bottoms of vases if rater thick. Is the chain silver? The closure says asian!
Chinese make now stackable boxes from vase shank and lacquer very decorative.
Nice piece!
