Hi all..when I start to think about it...there is more depression era glass in my house than I first realized. Im not sure if this quite fits that designation.
But it is of the period. Recently fallen in love with slag glass and I love this little 5 inch high Art Deco vase/planter with its subtle cream striations running around and about. Better yet, is the bold weirdly colored stuff. I have one piece of that that I would say ..what where when. I will put that up as well sooner or later. Its a box with columns and protrusions in white purple and browns...but enough with out a picture.
This little piece is imperfect ..most likely from the factory. There are pin holes that make no sense..on the rim. Almost as if someone was going to bore holes through it to make a 3 point hanger? Also 30 years of ingrained discoloration. very minor. I have seen this piece around in various colors. Its made by Agro Agate. There is one of their raised signatures on the bottom. Any and all comments welcome. P&P
