11.5" x 5.5" x 6.5" patent model (my opinion) of a portable fence patented by Absolom S. Chaney, of Flora, Illinois, May 22, 1877, patent #191,113. Patent Office tags not attached.
The patent states that only one lower horizontal rail is required to restrain large animals. Additional rails added as needed.
