This is, at last I can share it here, the third of our Rosewater Sprinkler vases from Lötz.

In this case the decor is a Phänomen: 7501, and it's a beautiful, beautiful one!

This very same vase appears on page 19 of the Hatje Cantz's LÖTZ BOHEMIAN GLASS 1880-1940 book from the Neue Galerie. In this book (page 17) there's a praise of the design of the Lötz glass against that of Tiffany's. They say that "the appeal and quality of the glassware from Klostermühle lies in its sculpturalpower. This becomes immediately evident when comparing Tiffany's decorative vessel shaped like a rosewater sprinkler and its 18th Century Persian prototype and the Lötz variation. Tiffany sought to capture the delicacy and prefect line of the Persian glass, while in Klostermühle the Oriental prototype served simply as a basis for a new original creation".

I've added a picture of the vase seen from behind (pic No.2) as i think the look of it is just great. I love the leafy quality of the top (and in fact of all the vase).
