Mixed metal vase at about 6" tall and made in the Meiji Period. The body is made of Bronze. There is small copper detailing all around the piece of wonderful flowers, birds and leaves that are all carved and have incredible detail. Sits very well with my 4" vase but thankfully this time the vase hasn't been clean and has a very charming patina.

Incredible pieces cab. When it comes to mixed metal ware in intricate detail, there is noone quite like the Japanese. These pieces are probably Meiji in period and fabulous things

Dean I couldn't agree more! It blows my mind when i look at the hundreds of hours someone put into the details and creating the vases. I personally love Japanese mixed metal and often seek it out. Thanks for your info and comment! always love hearing from people that enjoy and appreciate the things I find beautiful.
