IS IT AN ADVERTISER ITEM PRODUCE BY PABST MARKETEERS OR SOMETHING MADE IN A CRAFTERS BASEMENT.SMELLS LIKE IT COULD BE A LITTLE OF BOTH. ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED.THANKS FOR LOOKING.
The Pabst Light - these were made in the 1970's, lot's of different beers and sodas. The bulbs were available in different colors. The filament was supposed to wiggle like that - flicker effect. - You could also use them with regular bulbs.
COOL , THANKS FOR RESPONDING . DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY WERE CALLED OR REFERRED TO ??? WERE THEY SOLD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING USE LIKE TAVERN PROPRIETER ??? WHERE WOULD YOU PURCHASE THEM ???
I believe they were called "flicker lamps" - at least that's what we called them.
General merchandise - I had the Pabst like yours, my sister had a 7-up. - 1970's
THANKS FOR THE REPLY .THAT MYSTERY IS SOLVED .ANYTHING ON THE OLD STYLE CAN ?
