    Ivory Dynasty copyright 1982, Arnart Imports Incorporated. We think this is real Ivory. Is there anyone that can give us some help on this 2 piece set that I have, please and thank you.

      Looks like carved lacquer or resin. See if the pieces attract a magnet. Carved lacquer and resin are built up in layers over a wood or metal form. You can see the resin layers built up over this core in your photos of the base and neck of the vase. Ivory is VERY hard and difficult to carve with the type of detail shown on your pieces. Also, `Ivory Dynasty` items are listed on ebay as 'faux' ivory. These are more beautiful than ivory though, since you know nothing was killed to make them.
