Is this a Ostby & Barton Co. ring ??

I purchased this ring in 1984. I looked up some information on it. the letter O . And letter B with a small cross came up to: Ostby & Barton Co. This is very historically important jewelry firm was established by Englehart C. Ostby and Nathan B. Barton. Ostby was a immigrant goldsmith from Norway. Ostby was among the 1,500 passengers who perished on the famous Titanic on April 14 , 1912... could any one please help me with this... is this at all what I stated due to the marking and design of this ring thank you ...SIMPLYOLD
