I have this sterling silver encased vase for many years and don't really know much about it. Stands 4.5 inches. Its very nice in a pearlised cranberry glass with a separate silver casing. Bought from an Antique Fair for quite a high price at the time.
Underneath scratched mark Haida and some numerals -can anybody shed light on it.

Haida these days is known as Novy Bor in the old Czechoslovakia, these days the Czech Republic. It was the site of one of the famous technical colleges that trained young people entering the glass industry. Nearby was another school too at Steinschönau aka Kamenicky Senov. Important places.

I think the glasshounds might find this piece interesting.
