Wanted to share again my find at a local thrift store.
A pair of Josef originals Pie Baker/ Pie Chef / Pie Birds from the 40's - 50's.
Pie Birds were used to help steam escape while baking a pie and prevent overflow. Though still made today, very few people use them.
This pair stand 3 1/4 inches tall.
I had previously posted the Pie Baker. I was fortunate to find the mate, the Pie Chef.
