Hi this reminds me of my one with the berry I put on show and tell a few monthes back. I think that not all of this type of glass was made by S&W .
I agree with you Ozmarty, I need to purchase a Book or two on ether English and Applied Art Glass, I don’t like Not knowing Patterns and Makers of Glass, but at the same time... the other part of me Loves the Treasure Hunt, and Finding a Beautiful Piece of glass that No one else noticed, Like these two vases, I paid just as much for the shipping on these two Vases then I did on the Actual Vases themselves.
I use this website and EBay as a reference tool for the ID of the Glass I do not have Books for, which can be Dangerous since at times Sellers don’t Have a Clue what they have, which at other times can be useful if you want to get a piece cheaper then you could from a seller who was well informed on their glass.
AH! we all love the hunt! sniffing out bargains . thats part of being addicted to collecting.
A lot of this type of glass is termed Stourbridge Glass though it was not all made there . some even made by top makers in Bohemia for the British market. I think S&W and a few others notably Boulton and mills are there.
I have a pair of vases with the plum decoration (just like yours)-- I have always considered them one of my highlite items in my applied art glass collection.
Thanks for sharing!

Hello again Scott, Yes I love this type of applied glass as well, I bid on allot of this type on eBay but due to the fact I bid far less then what they are worth, I win very few, but every time I do I am never disappointed with them.
Thanks for the Feedback Guys!
