One of the ultimate collectibles. The owner of Juan Pollo bought the town and has restored the motel, Café, and Gas station. Only the gas station is open for business currently. There was sign that said "emergency gas only" but the wind blew it over.
I may do a part two on this if anyone is interested.
I love seeing old route 66 as it stands today :-)))))))))

That is great. We went through there a few years ago taking the scenic route to Lake Tahoe.
In the 80's the wife and I traveled on and off route 66 from Illinois to California. Some of it is interstate so you have no choice.
