Thank u so much aghcollect. I never knew how to look coins/money up without having to go through every one ever made :) so I figured someone on CW would know a lot more than I do about coins and dollar bills that I have. Again, thank u so very much my friend. Instead of me posting some the paper monies and coins that I'm not exactly sure about, if u get into that sort of item, can u give me ur email and I can email u the monies I am not sure about. Thx. It is a 20 pence piece!
thanks for helping & for the love-geo26e and thanks nuts, kerry, moonstone & agh for the love too. :)
A UK 20pence well they are boring compared with out new £1 coin which looks like an old UK threepenny piece. Also rather boring when compared with The Olympic year 50 pences, and the Two pound coins which feature WW1, and Shakespeare tragedies. There is an old out of date coin called a Florin, lovely coin with a picture of a wren on it.
There is also a 20 pence piece that was struck without its date on it which is now worth up to £80.00. Neil
