Part of our old coin collection 1943/1944 copper and zinc penny collection. I think the pennies at that time were called zinc, am I correct?

1943 pennies were actually zinc-coated steel - 1944-1946 pennies used salvaged cartridge cases in their composition so they tend to be a little lighter color bronze. 1947 resumed with the copper and tin/zinc composition.
All these are very common dates and are plentiful in the collector market at prices below a dollar in mint condition.
thank u. They are in mint condition :) I love collecting and saving older coins, etc. :)
