Another of my Dads collection. Very pretty and made of glass. It had been stored away for many years as far as I know.

    Thanks

this is an Imperial Glass pattern first introduced between 1910 and 1929 per their catalog. The patterns is often called Scroll Embossed by collectors; tho' IG doesn't have a name in the catalog. Because this interior pattern was also used with various exterior patterns there are different numbers, and I didn't see a number of a plain exterior. Here's a link to ddoty:

Thank you Guys. I am a complete novice. I think I am following in my dear old Dads footsteps. I am gradually unravelling his collections of all sorts ( no kidding, we have four full size suitcases full of UK First Day Cover stamps/collections from about 1948 onwards!)
I hope you dont mind me putting bits on here ven if I do not know what they are? I dont want to be a pain.

      Thank you.

At least one original Imperial Glass Company catalog refers to this design as "Persian."

quite welcome. I don't know how to post photos in a comment/reply or else I'd see if I can post some of that catalog for you.
