We have saved/collected these monies too. I know that I goofed up when I laminated the last one (few years ago). Can anyone tell me alittle about these?

Yes, laminating it made it virtually worthless to a bank note collector
Thanks aghcollect for explaining these bills. I only laminated 2 of them, Saddam Hussein and the other that I emailed to you. I wish now that I would have used my brain, years ago, when I did that. But I guess whats done is done. There wouldn't be anyway to cut the lamination real close to the bill and attempt removing it, is there?
Whats done is done - still a "conversation" piece - there are probably 250 million of these printed - they are available in mint condition for usually less than $5

Agree with agh on the Iraqi dinars-- not worth much at all. $5 is generous.
They are curiosity and popular among those who served in Iraq.
Right after the Invasion (2003), the exchange rate was about $1 (US)= 3,000 dinars. I did an exchange of about $50 (US) and had a huge amount of bills.
The dinars also had a lot of buying power initially. I recall buying a rotisserie chicken with fresh vegetables for about 1,000 dinars!
