      I love old clocks for their timeless beauty...had never come across one quite this style before...thanks for putting an end to the non-mystery I guess...LOL....it took team work aey!

      I love these clocks: they look good and are of good quality. I've owned 2 or 3 of these in the past. They are heavy beasties though! The best types are those with centre seconds or even the rarer Coup Perdu escapement ones. I have seen one only with the latter escapement and it's fascinating to watch. A dealer is selling one here in Scotland, but wants big money for it.
