I feel this is some type of carafe but really do not know. I think it is quite old. It was given to my mom from a very old friend who used to collect things like suits of armor so possibly from that era??? It states quadruple plate, and the silver is not in the best of shape, and I have been worried about trying to clean it. Any thoughts on what it was used for and how old it might be?
