1938, 1929 & 1935 Buffalo Nickels I've had for numerous years collecting. if anything else is known about these, we'd appreciate hearing comments plz. We know mostly wore down, but we still save them just because. I have heard the new ones stop printing because it had shown an indecent part of the buffalo, was hear-say going around
We have a half dozen of them also. Not a great investment as I assume you know. Our shield nickle is the best we have in nickles. I have no doubt where the phrase, "Not worth a dime" came from.
thanks fhrjr2, I know they're not the best investment, but maybe in my childrens lifetime, they may be. :) haha. but i keep collecting almost everything I come accrossed. haha
Printsid - any ones with a readable date are collectible (at least worth a dollar) - even the ones with completely worn-off dates (and Indian pennies, too) can be sold. They are used to make jewelry, like coin bracelets, tie tacks, belt buckles, etc.
agh, you knowledge & help is awesome. I thank you so very much...
We have 1 gallon ziplock bags full of wheat pennies besides the many coins in seperate coin holders. We ran out of coin holders, etc and had to put rest in ziplocks and have buffalo nickels in a few snack size ziplocks :) I will email you soon with a question or comment etc.
