Wooden puzzle, was my dad's as a child (he was born in 1939). It looks like the name is Frances _oof (maybe Hoof or Woof)? The sign on the inn says "Victory Inn", there is a parade, notice the flag (Britain) --- seems to be a Victory parade? World War II I assume, so 1946? Does anyone know anything about this?

I have the parade jigsaw you show in the pictures. The name on the bottom of the picture is definitely Francis Woof. I too would love to know more about this jigsaw and the age of it. Thankyou for posting your questions.
