    Picked this 13" vase up the other day after looking at it for a week or so. Just looked kind of interesting. A slight bit of gold iridescence with thin black band accents at the top and base. The bottom is smooth with a bit of a pontil but no marks or labels of any kind. Probably mid century. -Mike-

      Maybe, but it's pretty skinny. The bottom is only 3 1/2" in diameter. Wouldn't hold much..lol

      Could the bands be silver? Kind of like Dorthy Thorpe cocktail wares?

      Hi Amber ...I don't think so, they look like thin black lines of fired enamel You don't feel them with your nail when you run it across the surface. It has a few bubbles and imperfections too.
