This is a hubcap (or wheel cover) from my 1972 model Ford Gran Torino.
- Mine wasn't the "Sport" model, but it had a 302 cuin (4.9L) Windsor V8 powerhouse and it sure was "fast". Bought used in 1981 and got another 4 years of good, solid use out of it. -- The Ford Torino was an intermediate automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company for the North American market between 1968 and 1976. The car was named after the city of Turin (Torino, in Italian). The Torino was initially an upscale version of the intermediate sized Ford Fairlane, which Ford produced between 1962 and 1970. - By 1970 Torino had become the primary name for Ford's intermediate and the Fairlane was a subseries of the Torino. In 1971 the Fairlane name was dropped and all Ford intermediates were called Torino.
