After an exhaustive search, I couldn't find this pattern anywhere. Agree with valentino about the restaurant ware though, but may have been an "exclusive". The only thing I found that even came close was some "Sears Coffee House" made by Homer Laughlin which had a green and brown pattern. At least you know the GG & IG codes are the date codes for (GG-July 1966 / IG-Sept. 1966)
thank you aghcollect ans valentino97 :) I couldn't find it either, replacements.com has an extensive lists of homer laughlin pieces/patterns but geesh, one at a time, I got tired of looking :) I'm sure they are prob restaurant pieces, I have 7 cups and 6 saucers, all matching, I didn't know about the date marks :)
I was thinking maybe it could have been an exclusive pattern for a coffee shop or diner. Remember back in the 60's, the department stores like Sears, Woolworth, Mont. Wards, etc. all had little coffee counters in their stores. Also, one thing about replacements, they don't always have an image available of every single pattern. Your date codes are different by 4 months on the cup & saucer you have pictured, are the date codes the same on your other pieces?
Also, come to think of it - Montgomery Wards logo colors were these same colors.
Well, its not Mont. Ward because theirs were blue only and had their logo print. There are 4 listings on ebay (grapefruit bowls and bread & butter plates) with this pattern all from the same seller but it is just noted as "un-named or unknown to me pattern"
