This helmet is from the Washington Hose Co. in The City of Coatesville, Pa. I have a small collection of helmets and this is my top dog! I had worked for the city for 20 some years. I was able to pick this helmet up from a member who had received it as a graduation gift. He needed some money to go on a date when he came home from college. He was asking $250.00 bucks for it. I think I made out well.
