I believe this is an old cigarette lighter, pot metal with red painted lips, has a cord for plugging in wall outlet, has the name,"Hot Cha" on bottom front, his little bottom has what look like a fire grill that light up when plugged in,I bought this from the estate sale of an eighty year old African American lady.

Cute and looks like it behind lit up is there a place it comes apart ? How tall is it ? Looks like a novelty item and maybe has or had a bulb in it ?
    2. mssue64, 11 years ago
Yes the behind does have a place for light but no light,at one time it had a wood peepee with a red end but it was lost during the moving from my storage to my home storage,I think it's about 10-11" tall,I will have to go unwrap it and measure again to be sure, there were some tiny screws that fit in little holes on the side, they are missing to,does look like a cigarette lighter,I couldn't get in another picture but have a picture of the lighter inside,I can't find out anything about this piece

      Great job Mini.

Did you get any offers when this was listed on ebay?

I don't think it originally had a peepee. What you see in the photo Mini posted is a small button that you pushed to turn the heater on. This a rare item but unfortunately it suffers some serious metal fatigue, common on some early pot metal. Still should be worth something.
