This is a neat old stamp, the blue and white round porcelain piece has red ink paste in it, the box has an ivory piece to keep it closed, the stamp has a snake carved on top, any ideas on what it says or the age and maker? I can't read Japanese (: or chinese :( I need a friend from japan and china :)
Very nice Deanteaks, i hope you find out what it says. Its very difficult, with Chinese/Japanese style writing, to do any research unless you know someone who speaks it. I've got something signed in Japanese which I'm stuck on, a friend of a friend even wrote to a Japanese friend of theirs for me but never got a reply:(
